Mounir Younes is an Associate in the Antitrust and Competition Law practice of Baker Botts’ Brussels Office.
Mounir advises clients on all aspects of European Union competition and regulatory law, including merger control proceedings, foreign direct investment screening, antitrust investigations, abuse of dominance matters, compliance issues, and broader regulatory advisory work. He regularly assists clients in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and strategic transactions at both the European Union and national levels.
He has experience handling complex cross-border matters and advising on the application of emerging enforcement mechanisms and evolving regulatory tools under European Union competition law.
He has worked across a broad range of industries, notably life sciences, digital markets, energy and technology, manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods, and private equity. He speaks English and French.
